WoW Upgrades - The item upgrades Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves.
